DCJ, foster care agencies, and residential providers get a written proposal built from the specific scope of support. Every engagement is quoted, not templated.
- What we need from you
- Placement type, expected hours per week, reporting cadence, specialist requirements, timeline.
- What we deliver
- A written scope-of-support proposal within 2 business days, with a fixed hourly rate.
- Reporting included
- Case notes, monthly summaries, and quarterly review meetings costed into the engagement.
- Trauma-informed by default
- Every mentor on a DCJ engagement is trained in complex trauma practice.
OOHC engagements typically run for a minimum 12-week period so the young person builds rapport with a consistent mentor.

Same rate. Everyone.
NDIS-funded, plan-managed, self-managed, or self-funded. The rate on your invoice is the rate the NDIS publishes. No premiums for private pay.
Written before signed.
Every service agreement lists the exact hourly rate, the line item it maps to, and how travel and cancellations are billed. Nothing surprises you at invoice time.
DCJ is scoped.
Government placements get a real proposal, not a template. Tell us what you need supported and how you need it reported; we come back with a costed scope in two business days.
Pricing questions.
Do you charge the same for NDIS and self-funded families?
Yes. Our hourly rates for self-funded families mirror the NDIS Price Guide. Families pay the same rate a plan-managed participant would pay for the equivalent line item. No private-pay markup.
What line item do you bill mentoring under?
Youth mentoring is most commonly billed under 04_104_0125_6_1 (Access Community Social and Recreational Activities, Standard Weekday), with variants for evenings, weekends, and Public Holidays as per the NDIS Price Guide. For capacity-building goals we use 09_009_0117_6_3 (Life Skills Development).
Do you charge for travel?
Yes, in line with the NDIS Price Guide. Provider Travel and Non-Labour Costs are billed only for the portion of travel time we would normally spend and only up to the caps published in the current Pricing Arrangements. This is explained in our service agreement before anything is signed.
What about cancellations?
We follow the NDIS Short Notice Cancellation rules: a full-fee charge applies if you cancel with less than 7 clear days notice or the young person does not attend. We do our best to reschedule instead of charging.
How does DCJ pricing work?
DCJ engagements are quoted per scope of support. We need the placement type, expected hours, reporting cadence, and any specialist requirements to write a formal proposal. Get in touch and we will turn a scope around within two business days.
Are your PBS services priced the same way?
Yes. PBS is delivered personally by Yos, an NDIS behaviour support practitioner, and billed at the NDIS Price Guide Specialist Positive Behaviour Support rates.
The full NDIS Pricing Arrangements are published by the NDIA and updated regularly. Our rates track those updates automatically.
