These terms cover your use of supportingcommunitiesaustralia.com (the site), operated by Supporting Communities Australia Pty Ltd (SCA). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About this site

The site provides information about the services SCA delivers as a registered NDIS provider in Western and South West Sydney: youth mentoring, positive behaviour support, NDIS capacity building, OOHC youth support, and behaviour support plans for young people aged 12 to 20. It is intended for young people, their families and carers, referrers, and professionals in the disability and community services sectors.

2. Permitted use

You can use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:

  • Break any law or regulation while using the site
  • Scrape, crawl, or mass-download the site or its content
  • Send unsolicited communications, spam, or harmful content through our forms
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or any related systems
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation

3. Intellectual property

All content on the site, including text, images, logos, illustrations, design, and structure, belongs to Supporting Communities Australia unless otherwise noted. It is protected under Australian copyright law.

You are welcome to link to pages on the site, and to quote short passages for editorial, educational, or non-commercial purposes, provided you attribute Supporting Communities Australia. You must not copy, reproduce, adapt, or republish site content for commercial use without written permission from SCA.

The Elevate Youth Lab framework referenced on this site is proprietary to SCA and is delivered exclusively through us.

4. General information, not advice

The information on this site is general in nature. It is not a substitute for individual clinical, legal, or health advice about a specific young person, family, or situation. If a young person's needs are complex or urgent, please contact us directly or seek advice from a suitably qualified professional.

Nothing on this site creates a service agreement. A service agreement with SCA is only formed once we have reviewed a referral, discussed it with you, and both parties have signed a written agreement.

5. No warranties

The site is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, SCA excludes all warranties in relation to the site, including that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that content is complete or up to date. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Third-party links

The site links to third-party websites, including the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, government resources, and partner organisations. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, practices, or availability. Following a third-party link is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, SCA is not liable for any loss, damage, cost, or inconvenience arising from your use of the site or from reliance on its content, including content on third-party sites we link to. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the affected information or paying the cost of doing so.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this site and through our services.

9. Complaints

If something on the site is wrong, or you have a concern about a service, please raise it through our Complaints and Feedback process.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will give at least 30 days notice by posting the updated terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the site after that date means you accept the updated terms.
